This year’s 23rd Annual Philpott Open Ladies Tennis Tournament was a huge success raising over $40,000 including the $10,000 commitment made by Miele Canada Inc. This year’s tournament was hosted by Timm Fisher, Tennis Director, at the newly renovated Boulevard Club, on the shores of Lake Ontario, for over 250 women tennis participants who attended the post tournament banquet on January 26, 2007.

Jan Heck, President, Miele Canada, presented each of the winning teams with stylish ACE Collections Brand Caps for each player embroidered with the Miele crest, as part of their 3-year commitment to the Philpott charity. “We are delighted to take a leadership position with such a grassroots community program. The Philpott program plays a valuable role in developing the physical and life skills of many of our neediest children.” stated Heck.
