Outdoor fall programs are offered at San Romanoway (North York, Jane-Finch). Indoor tennis programming is offered at three indoor facilities – NYTA (North York Tennis Association), Don Montgomery Community Centre (Scarborough), and L’Amoureux Winter Tennis Club (Scarborough).
IMPORTANT NOTE: A Clubspark account is required to register for Winter Programs at North York Tennis Association, L’Amoureux Kids Indoor Play Program, and Little Readers. If you do not have an account, please register by clicking here. Note that Don Montgomery registration is done through City of Toronto and you can access those links below.
FALL OUTDOOR PLAY PROGRAMS
San Romanoway Kids Programs
Outdoor fall programs will be offered at our San Romanoway site in the Jane-Finch community located in North York. Programs are offered after school Monday – Thursday and during the day on Saturdays. Programs begin the week of September 10th. Click the registration link below to view all program offerings.

FALL/WINTER INDOOR PLAY PROGRAMS
Don Montgomery Kids Programs
This free instructional program is offered every Saturday starting September 30th in partnership with Don Montgomery Community Centre. Location Address: 2467 Eglinton Ave East, Scarborough, ON. Registration for Don Montgomery is done through City of Toronto (link provided below).
NYTA Winter Play Kids Programs
This free instructional program is offered every Saturday starting on October 19th in partnership with the North York Tennis Association. Session I runs Oct 19 – Dec 21st. A second session is offered Jan – Apr. Location: 2975 Don Mills Rd W, North York, ON.
L’Amoureux Kids Program
We are pleased to bring back our indoor program at L’Amoureux Winter Tennis in Scarborough. This free instructional program is offered every Sunday for 9 weeks starting on October 27th. There are programs for kids ages 6-15. Located at 300 Silver Springs Blvd, Scarborough, ON.
LITTLE READERS PROGRAM
One-on-one after-school reading program that runs for two 12-week sessions throughout the school year. Children are matched up with a Coach Reader who they will read with one-time per week. Age and level-appropriate books are provided. All sessions are held virtually. Coached by: personal coach reader will be assigned
LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
The Toronto Sport Leadership Program provides participants with the skills and training needed to be a Tennis Canada Certified Instructor. Offered to youth ages 16+, this program is a great opportunity to improve your playing level and become a certified coach with opportunities to coach in Philpott Tennis programs.
The Leadership program runs throughout the school year and aims to build both tennis and life skills to help candidates become confident coaches and leaders. On-court tennis training is complemented with off-court learning sessions and guest speakers covering a range of topics including: First Aid, resume building, communication skills, financial literacy, mindset training, and High Five training by City of Toronto.
There is a try out held on Oct 26th. Selected candidates will participate every Saturday at L’Amoureux Tennis Centre in Scarborough from 1-3pm. Players who complete the course will proceed to take the Instructor Course hosted by Tennis Canada at the end of March/beginning of April, where they will have a chance to become certified through Tennis Canada’s Coaching certification.
OUTDOOR FALL TENNIS PROGRAMS AT SAN ROMANOWAY (NORTH YORK, JANE & FINCH)
The Courts at San Romanoway (OUTDOORS)
Weekly for 7 weeks (weather permitting), September 11 - October 21, 2023
This free instructional program is offered after-school on Mondays or Wednesdays and during the day time on Saturdays. A racquet is included with the program but participants are welcome to bring their own if they choose. Classes are outdoors at the Courts at San Romanoway located at 15 San Romanoway, North York, ON. Children’s classes will run for 7-weeks, weather permitting, and begin the week of September 11th.
Adult programs are back! Adult classes have been added for 4 weeks on Fridays beginning September 16th. Cost for Adult programs is $25/session
