The Boulevard Club Rallying Together: Step-by-Step Guide to Setting up
Your Fundraising Page.
Thank you for joining the Boulevard Club Rallying Together campaign in support of Philpott Children’s Tennis. Your participation will make a direct impact, helping us bring tennis and life skills to kids in neighbourhood improvement areas across Toronto.
This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to create your personal fundraising page and start collecting pledges. Whether you’re a seasoned fundraiser or trying it for the first time, we’ve laid out the steps clearly to make it as easy as possible.
By rallying together, we can achieve something extraordinary – every pledge brings us closer to our goal of ensuring access to free tennis and skill programs and creating a lasting positive change in the community.
Let’s get started!
· Visit Boulevard main campaign page
· Click “create my own fundraising page”
· Type in your name and email address and then click “create my page”
· A message will pop up that “your page has been created”, click ‘Okay’
· You will receive two emails in your inbox (they may come at the same time, or there may be a slight time delay).
o The first email: will be a note that you can forward onto your family and friends to request pledges. *Please save this email. Having it handy will be helpful for: 1) Quick Sharing: forward it to potential supporters without having to create a new message, 2) Reuse Later: if you want to send additional pledge requests, you’ll have the original email handy.
o The second email: will invite you to personalize your fundraising page. (note: you are not required to personalize your page, but you may if you wish). To personalize your page:
§ From this second email, click ‘personalize my page’.
§ You will be taken to your personal webpage. Wherever there is the pencil icon, you can make changes. You will be able to change the image, fundraising goal, and add text.
§ Once you are happy with your page, click “save and publish”
§ Click “email me a new link for this page”
§ You will receive another email to your inbox with the subject “Support my fundraising effort”. You are now ready to start collecting pledges! Simply forward this email to your family and friends to request their support. Their contributions will automatically be added to your fundraising total.
Once someone donates through your personalized fundraising page, their contribution will automatically be added to your total. No need to track pledges manually or worry about calculations; the platform does all the work for you. Every donation is credited to your page instantly, so you can focus on what matters most: inspiring your network and sharing the impact their generosity will have.
