The Board of the Philpott Children’s Tennis Fund is proud to announce after a long search thatRichard Crowell will be hired as the new Executive Director.
Richard comes to us with over 12 years of experience as Tennis Canada’s Director of Community Tennis. In addition to his roles in the community department, Richard has served as a course facilitator for Coach 2 certification and the Community Tennis Volunteer Course. He was formerly the fitness coach for Tennis Canada’s provincial and national U12 teams working with many of Canada’s top prospects. As a part time instructor with Humber College, Richard taught Career Development and does guest appearance on a variety of topics in the Sport Management Program. Richard has a Masters Certificate in Project Management and is currently married, living in Vaughan and enjoys playing hockey in the winter and tennis, golf, baseball and biking in the summer.
